Terms and Conditions of Service Grace & Shine Cleaning
Effective Date: 1st February 2025
By using the services of Grace & Shine Cleaning ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the use of our cleaning services and form a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
1. Services Provided
We offer cleaning services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The specific services provided will be outlined in your individual service agreement, and may include but are not limited to:
Regular cleaning (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
Move-in/out cleaning
Special requests (subject to availability)
2. Service Fees and Payment
Fees: The fees for our services will be quoted and agreed to prior to service. The cost is determined by the estimated time taken to complete the clean at the property. This may vary depending on the size of the property, the level of service required, and any special requests.
Payment: Payments are due within 7 days of completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments through bank transfer.
Late Payments: If payment is not received within 7 days of the invoice date unless agreed upon, a late fee of 20% will apply to the invoice.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of $50.
Cancellation by Grace & Shine Cleaning: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, illness, emergencies). If we cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule the appointment at a mutually convenient time.
4. Access to Property
You agree to provide Grace & Shine with reasonable access to the property to perform the agreed-upon services. If there are areas that are locked or inaccessible, you must inform us in advance. Failure to provide access may result in the service being incomplete or canceled without a refund.
5. Client Responsibilities
Preparation: You are responsible for ensuring that the property is ready for cleaning. This includes removing personal items, valuables, and any hazards that may impede our staff's ability to perform the services.
Pets: You must inform us in advance if there are pets in the area to be cleaned. Pets must be safely secured during the cleaning process to ensure the safety of both the pets and our staff.
6. Liability and Damages
We are not liable for any damage to the property unless it is caused by the negligence of our staff.
You are responsible for notifying us in writing within 48 hours of any damage caused during the cleaning service.
We will not be liable for any pre-existing conditions or damage that was not identified during the initial inspection of the property.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Any personal or sensitive information shared with us will be kept confidential and only used for the purpose of providing services. We will not disclose any information to third parties without your consent unless required by law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Grace & Shine Cleaning from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct by us.
9. Amendments to Terms
Grace & Shine Cleaning reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the effective date of the changes will be updated accordingly. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
